And then I fell behind, way behind, on my own. I apologize to those of you who’ve popped by and didn’t find the info you’d wanted. I’m going to try harder to update regularly, especially now that I have a bit more time on my hands. Yes folks, the rumours are true: I, along with another 25 to 30 volunteers, have been dismissed from volunteering at CKLN 88.1FM by an interim management team that refuses to cite why we’ve been dismissed or what it is they imagine for the future of CKLN. This means no more Mental Chatter on CKLN, just like it means the loss of shows like Bruckbeat Radio, Afrotransit, Reggamania, Upsurgence, Dat Dere, Radio Cliteracy and too many more. There’s a lot to be said about this whole matter, and I’m grateful to have this outlet to share my perspective on what has been, and is, happening at CKLN. Please check my Blog page if you’re interested in knowing more. I’ll be posting lots over the next bit. Also added to this site are Cherry Bomb and Synchro updates. Coming real soon will be archived Mental Chatter programs, so that you can at least hear the last few months of shows. Soon, I’ll also add other audio goodies to this site, like interviews with artists and songs I’m totally feeling. Personally speaking, I'm happy to see 2007 come to a close as it's been a real year of struggle and loss, on many fronts. I'm looking forward to the new, new, new and to making that as positive as can be - for myself, my family, friends, supporters and as many lives as I'm privileged enough to touch via music and words. One of my goals heading into '08 is to be far more regular with updates to this site - particularly where the Mental Chatter radio show Podcasts are concerned. I'll be concentrating on uploading a whole bunch of programs over the holiday period so if you've been wanting to hear recent broadcasts, please check back soon or RSS to know immediately when updates happen. In the meantime, I've added all the details for the CHERRY BOMB New Year's Eve Explosion event that Cozmic Cat and I are hosting on December 31st. Hope to see many of you there!
