Mental Chatter is Toronto’s longest-running, forward-looking, open-format ‘dance music’ show. Hosted and programmed by Denise since 1987, the weekly three-hour program has consistently been one of the CKLN’s top-rated shows, and is one of Toronto’s most eminent, varied and respected sources of electronic/independent music and related information.

Mental Chatter is an ardent and entirely personal mix dedicated to new underground sounds (and music that has been influential). In any one show, Denise moves through jazz, experimental electronics, innovative indie rock, downtempo, dub, reggae, house, tech, electro, punk funk, hip-hop, glitch and other goodness. It’s all presented with lots of artist and release info, news tidbits, interviews, giveaways, listings, and a huge interest in Canadian talent. Listen with open ears and pen ‘n paper by your side.
